Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
All reasonable duties expected of a Setting Out Engineer assisted and monitored by the Site or Project Manager, including the following:
Completes Site Surveys - carry out site surveys pre-contract, during construction, ‘as built’ and of existing levels - plot levels onto layout for record purposes.
Carries out all aspects of site setting out in accordance with consultants drawings for earthworks, drainage, roadworks, structures, buildings etc.
Completion of Quality Assurance: materials testing and inspection instrument calibration. Checking drawings/documentation as required. Weekly and monthly checks on instruments in use. Record keeping of the checks carried out (in accordance with internal Quality Assurance System).
Recording of setting out information.
To ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
Upkeep of own site diary, drawing registers and QA check lists (this is in addition to the main copies kept by the Site Management Team), Record keeping of as built drawings for the drainage, services etc. to produce to client upon the project completion.
Assist with presentation of survey drawings to Quantity Surveyor for accurate site measurement.
To attend scheduled site meetings with Subcontractors or other interested parties.in conjunction with the Project.
To undertake necessary training as and when required, in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and Company requirements.
To liaise with the Site / Project Manager on all matters.
Review project drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of project scope, client goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project.
Resolve work site issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work progress on track.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Ensure quality control is maintained at all times and records maintained.
Any other duties that the Company may require you carryout in relation to your role.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Experience of working with heavy plant is essential
· CPCS or City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications in plant maintenance desirable
· Candidates must hold a full class 2 driving license
Roles and Responsibilities
· Safely maintaining equipment across several sites.
· Safely maintaining equipment at our main yard
· Fault finding and diagnostic work.
· Conducting preventative maintenance and recording.
· Maintaining a quality record of work carried out as per company policy.
· Stripping and rebuilding/refurbishing of components.
· Must have experience with heavy plant
· First stage of break down issues
· Maintenance of machines
· Ordering parts
· All documentation
· Monitoring of job sheets
· Experience of repairing and maintaining heavy plant and machinery
· Ability to work under pressure
· Have excellent communication skills
· Be able to build relationships
· Be a team player
· Have excellent timekeeping
· Must be flexible & be prepared to work beyond their agreed hours
· Stock Taking Monitoring and updating parts
· Body work repairs, Sprays to plant machinery and vehicles
· HGV Maintenance, repairs 6 weekly checks and MOT prep
· Company key holder, Locking and opening up unit
